Tracko ("we", "our", "the app") is a farm and business management application used by companies to manage farmers, batches, purchases, sales, stock and settlements. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how it is protected.

• Account information: name, phone number, email address, and password (stored securely, never in plain text).
• Company & team data: company name, industry, and details of Office Managers, Field Managers, and their assigned roles.
• Farmer records: farmer names, phone numbers, KYC details (such as date of birth), bank details, and batch history — entered by your company for operational purposes.
• Operational data: purchases, sales, stock levels, feed and medicine records, weight and mortality entries, and settlement calculations.
• Device information: basic device/app diagnostics used to keep the app working reliably (e.g. crash logs).

2. How we use this information

• To operate the core features of Tracko — records, reports, and settlements.
• To authenticate accounts and enforce the role-based permissions your company sets.
• To sync your data in real time across your team's devices.
• To send OTP codes for login verification and password resets (via email).
• To provide customer support when you contact us.

3. Data storage and security

Your data is stored on Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Authentication), a secure cloud infrastructure. Access to company data is restricted by the role and permission settings configured by your company's Owner. We do not sell your data to third parties.

4. Data sharing

We do not share your personal or business data with third parties, except:

• With service providers strictly necessary to run the app (e.g. Firebase for hosting/storage, email service for OTP delivery, payment processor for subscription billing).
• When required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Tracko, our users, or the public.

5. Your choices

Company Owners can review, edit, or delete farmer and staff records at any time within the app. To request full deletion of your company account and associated data, contact us using the details below.

6. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal or accounting purposes.

7. Children's privacy

Tracko is a business tool intended for use by adults operating farm businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.
